Bakron Polymer Bobbin Baskets/Hooks

Conventional Steel hooks cause looping, puckering, pulling and stitch deformation. Oil staining can occur in the effort to counter these unwanted effects.  The operator must be ready to constantly   readjust tensions to prevent these unwanted defects from occurring.

Bakron Hooks and Baskets maintain the proper balance of needle,e thread tension to bobbin thread tension.   Once the tensions are properly calibrated, the readjustment of thread tension is minimal.  The stitch formation maintains the optimal 1/3 needle threat -- 1/3 bobbin -- 1/3 needle thread relationship with much less operator interference.  The fabric being sewn is smooth, consistent and free of oil stain.

High heat is caused by uneven or insufficient oil flow, friction from basket rig and raceway surface drag and metal expansion Low heat can be sustained by the Bakron Polymer Basket's light and smooth polymeric surface.   Our design also promotes the lowest possible coefficient of friction against its steel counterpart.
Weight and heat are two factors that cause destructive stitch formation and excess thread breakage.  These factors create a condition in which extreme pressure  mounts between the finger and notch side wall.  This condition prevents the pinched needle thread from easy escape from the hook.  Tightening the thread tension is the only cure to drawing the pinched thread from between the finger and notch side wall into the fabric being sewn.  The process of readjusting tension causes unequilibrium in the critical balance between needle thread tension and bobbin thread tension.  Constant readjustment of thread tension is required to regain the proper balance.   Inconsistent stitch formation and high incidence of thread breakage are the effects of using the conventional steel hook. Weight and heat are insignificant factors of stitch formation when using Bakron Hooks and Baskets.  The thread escapes with ease from between the finger and notch.   Tensions need not be constantly readjusted once they are correctly calibrated.   Lighter tension s can now be used.  Lighter tensions substantially reduce thread fray breakage.  Oiling the  hook is not necessary.  The Bakron hook has a surge protection feature which prevents destructive machine damage if hook jamming occurs.  The Bakron Basked will give rather than jam and the machine will continue running without the destructive force of an immediate and potentially catastrophic seizing of the entire embroidery machine.
